I am a big fan of Tool Curation website such as Product Hunt, marketing stacks, etc.
But tools are differnt from other resources, it takes time for people to get familiar with it.
And that is the most important part of using a tool.
Your might not need so many tools most of the time.
Writing Tools
Ulysses $
Ulysess is one of the best writing tool I have used so far. It's easy to use and allows you to seamlessly write across the device.
Boost Note
Boost Note is an open-sourced markdown editor. It has almost indientical features to Ulysses.
Confluence
I use Confluence because our team is using Jira.
Pen and paper
It won't fail you.

Trello
Trello is a simple and handy Kanban tool which fulfill most of the needs from my perspective.

Figma is without a doubt the most trending tool in the last two years. It provides really great interface for your to create prototypes rapidily.

I still like Photoshop since I have to do photo edit form time to time. This is something Figma or other prototyping tools cannot provide.
